CCPIA News - Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association

Boulder, Colo. (May 19, 2026) — The Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association (CCPIA®) participated in InterNACHI’s North Carolina Home Inspector Conference, held in Charlotte on May 16, 2026. The event brought together local residential and commercial property inspectors for a day of education, networking, and professional development. Attendees included professional property inspectors, subject-matter experts, and industry service providers and vendors.

CCPIA® Education Director and Instructor Rob Claus led the workshop, Five Steps for Getting More Commercial Property Inspection Jobs, which provided practical guidance for inspectors looking to expand into commercial work. The session covered the key differences in how commercial property inspection jobs are secured compared to residential work, with topics including image and branding, sales and marketing, writing proposals, building a polished inspection report, and selling your services effectively both before and during an inspection.
